The Halftone 400 Wall Light is a part of Astro Lighting’s capsule collection, new for 2020.
The astro capsule collection is a growing group of lighting fixture’s that all carry the astro brand ethos of thorough design refinement, available through Orange Lighting.
Within the Halftone series there is the astro lighting Halftone 400 wall light and the astro lighting Halftone 600 wall light.
The Halftone is a fusion between art, technology and science. Starting from a basic pencil to paper sketch, Halftone focuses on the simple form of a circle with an engaging etched pattern on a translucent, clear acrylic.
Its’ subtle, gradient-like etched pattern begins from the edge of the disc and increases with intensity, creating a vivid ring of light.
The transparency of the acrylic allows the wall to still be visible, both when the light is switched on and switched off. Designed in two sizes and depths, Halftone can be layered to produce more intense and striking illumination that will add interest to the surrounding architecture.
Both the Halftone 400 wall light and Halftone 600 wall light incorporate 2700K extra warm white LED sources. These products are non dimmable and house the LED power supply on board.
The output of the Halftone 400 is 171 lumens which is a comfortable but still useful strength of light suitable for accent lighting.
